Impactful Dermatology Consultant (Temporary)

Our client is seeking to appoint a Temporary Consultant Dermatologist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality dermatology services within a supportive clinical environment within the HSE Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care in general dermatology, including outpatient and inpatient services

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions

• Participate in skin cancer clinics and minor surgical procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties

• Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff

• Registration as a specialist in Dermatology with the Irish Medical Council or eligibility for same

• Significant experience in dermatology at consultant level (or equivalent)

• Proven clinical, leadership, and communication skills

• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development

Desirable Criteria

• Subspecialty interest (e.g., dermatologic surgery, paediatric dermatology, or skin cancer)

• Experience working within the Irish healthcare system
