Our values are: Entrepreneurship Courage Respect Friendliness Job Description Summary Impact Handling are actively recruiting for a Field Service Manager to cover a geographical location within our Northern region. You will be responsible for the service operation and will report into the depot manager. Your role will be based around the region, and you will manage and support a team of predominantly field based engineers. Job Description Skills and Experience - Field Service Manager - Materials Handling A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar (preferred) Organised and driven individual with previous management and leadership experience Ability to motivate and organise teams and individuals while promoting communication and performance A focus on customer requirements and expectations with the ability to meet or exceed these from an individual and team perspective Commercial outlook and mindset which facilitates profitable growth of the service operation and wider region Main Duties - Field Service Manager - Materials Handling Management and continuous improvement of Field Service activities in line with company objectives To deliver a quality field-based customer experience to both local and national customers. Maximise the productivity of the operations function through motivation and development of the customer support teams, by doing regular performance reviews and identifying training requirements. To maintain the assets during the time on contract to an agreed standard to enable maximisation of the value of the asset at the end of its contract. Improve profitability by increasing the productivity of the engineer workforce through the reduction of hours spent on fleet equipment and the promotion of sales on customer own trucks. Ensure full compliance with health, safety and quality regulations for both field and business-based colleagues and promote a safe working place by all your actions.
