Senior Functional IFS Consultant - Manufacturing & Planning | Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional IFS Consultant with a strong background in both Manufacturing and Planning to support a major IFS Apps 10 implementation for a UK-based client. This is an initial 6-month contract (Outside IR35) with a high probability of extension, as the full programme is scoped for 18 months.

The role is hybrid with ad-hoc travel to Cambridge for key project meetings, offering the flexibility of predominantly remote work.

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the Manufacturing and Planning workstreams. You will lead stakeholder workshops, gather and translate business requirements, and ensure the solution design aligns with both operational and planning strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a transformative programme from its early stages and take ownership of critical functional areas.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Deep expertise in IFS Manufacturing (eg, Shop Orders, Routing, Work Centres, Inventory, MRP).
• Strong knowledge of IFS Planning modules, including Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Forecasting, and Capacity Planning.
• Hands-on experience with IFS Apps 10 and full life cycle implementation projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional designs and configurations.
• Comfortable leading functional workshops and liaising with business and technical teams.
• Understanding of integration points between Manufacturing, Planning, and other IFS modules (eg, Supply Chain, Projects).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Current SC Clearance is ideal, but the client is open to sponsoring candidates who are eligible for SC Clearance.
