IFA Administrator

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a busy Financial Services team based in Farnborough.

You will provide administrative and client servicing support to Financial Advisers, clients and product providers, with a particular focus on new business processing and case management.

This role would suit an experienced IFA Administrator or Financial Services Administrator who is confident managing new business cases and enjoys working in a client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Financial Advisers
  • Process new business across investments, ISAs, GIAs, bonds, pensions and protection
  • Manage cases from initial submission through to completion
  • Monitor and manage the new business pipeline
  • Liaise with Financial Advisers, clients and product providers
  • Chase outstanding information and documentation
  • Handle new business queries by telephone and email
  • Raise new business invoices
  • Book annual client review meetings
  • Maintain accurate client and case records
  • Ensure cases are progressed within agreed timescales and SLAs
  • Provide a high level of client service and administrative support

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as an IFA Administrator, Financial Services Administrator or similar
  • Experience of new business processing
  • Knowledge of investments, pensions, ISAs, GIAs, bonds and protection
  • Experience liaising with clients, Financial Advisers and providers
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Confident telephone and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A professional, proactive and customer-focused approach

Experience across all product areas is not essential; a good breadth of Financial Services administration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs at grades A-C / 9-4, including Maths and English
  • Financial Services qualifications such as CII would be advantageous but are not essential
