ICT Observability Engineer/Fluent Dutch/Hybrid

Fluent Dutch speaking ICT Observability Engineer required to join a dynamic team on a hybrid basis in Antwerp.

3 days per week onsite

6 month contract

Fluent Dutch speaking is mandatory

The role:

• Implement and maintain observability platforms and telemetry pipelines across hybrid environments (cloud and on premises).
• Instrument systems and applications using OpenTelemetry to collect logs, metrics, and traces.
• Build and optimize dashboards, alerts, and service maps to monitor performance and reliability.
• Support incident analysis and root cause identification through observability data.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to improve monitoring, automation, and service visibility.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Strong experience with observability tools and frameworks (eg OpenTelemetry, SigNoz, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Good understanding of monitoring concepts including logs, metrics, traces, and alerting.
• Experience with hybrid and cloud environments (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems).
• Scripting or automation knowledge (eg Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiar with ITSM or incident management tools (eg ServiceNow) and SLO/SLA/SLI principles.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills to work across technical teams.
