IBM Maximo Consultant - Arnhem, Netherlands

Location: Arnhem, Netherlands
Contract: 6 months freelance
Working model: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite initially, potentially reducing to 1-2 days after a few months
Languages: Dutch & English

We are supporting a client looking for an experienced IBM Maximo Consultant to support the technical design, development and ongoing improvement of their Maximo environment.

The role will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, translating requirements into robust technical solutions across implementations, upgrades and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of IBM Maximo/Maximo Application Suite solutions.
• Support Maximo implementations, upgrades and enhancement projects.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing Maximo support.
• Support data migration, testing, deployment and go-live activities.
• Work with functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Required Experience

• 4-6 years' experience with IBM Maximo.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Strong development experience with Java, XML and SQL.
• Proven experience across Maximo implementations and upgrades.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and developing reports; BIRT experience is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Desirable

• Maximo Anywhere or Maximo Mobile experience.
• IBM MAS, AWS or Azure experience.
• Maximo Application Suite certification.
• Utilities industry experience.
• Experience supporting data migration.
