IAM Software Engineer - Active Directory, Entra ID, IaC, Terraform, Azure, AWS, Configuration through code, Infrastructure platform modernisation

Long term contract/freelance opportunity for an IAM Software Engineer/SME to join our industry leading client in the Financial services sector. This is an opportunity to join an Enterprise scale Infrastructure modernisation programme, where our client is moving away from Legacy infrastructure and are going to build a new Microsoft infrastructure platform offering for their business, which will enable different teams in the company to run on a Microsoft environment. This will also mean that Product offerings our client will launch will be improved and more seamless, with a stronger Infrastructure platform behind them.

Off the back of this programme, our client has had more investment into key Microsoft components such as Active Directory and Entra ID. As part of a wider re-organisation of their IAM team, they are seeking IAM Software Engineers with subject matter expertise in the areas of Active Directory and Entra ID to support this initiative.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking hands on Engineers able to execute this project, not high-level individuals focussed on strategy or people purely focussed on configuration. You will need proven hands-on experience with on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID as you'll need to be the subject matter expert for this domain. As well as this, our client prides themselves on having a strong Software Engineering function utilising modern engineering principles and an Engineering mindset - so we are seeking Software Engineers with this background as opposed to System Administrators. You will also need experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - ideally Terraform as this is what our client uses. If you don't have experience with Terraform, you must have experience with at least one other IaC technology (eg ARM, CloudFormation).

Any experience with AWS would be a bonus, however not essential.

Our client would also like someone to go to the office in Stockholm ideally on a weekly basis.
