Hydraulic Tester

Purpose of the position:

As a Hydraulic Tester, you will work from client location in Kinderdijk, where you will focus on testing hydraulic components and systems such as manifolds, hydraulic power units (HPUs) and hydraulic and electric winches.

What will your operational responsibilities be at our client facility ?

• Testing and adjustment of hydraulic manifolds and components on our test benches.
• Performing functional tests on HPUs, hydraulic and electric winches, and other ship systems.
• Commissioning HPUs and winches to ensure they operate seamlessly within the vessel's systems.
• Collaborate with Engineers to solve technical challenges and improve system performance.
• Maintain and optimize the test environment, including equipment and tools. Prepare detailed test reports and ensure accurate documentation.

What we look for in our ideal candidate:

Education & Experience:

• Minimum MBO level, preferably in a technical direction.
• Experience: Proven experience in interpreting and understanding hydraulic schematics, drawings and test specifications.

Skills & Knowledge:

• good foundation in technical English; mastery of Dutch is a plus.
• Certifications: In possession of a VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain it.

Additional Skills:

• A hoisting and lifting certificate, or willingness to obtain it.

Technical Proficiency:

Enthusiasm for working with hydraulic and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
