Hybrid Upper GI & Emergency General Surgery Consultant

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two Consultants in Upper GI with Emergency General Surgery to develop the EGS service as part of phased expansion. The role blends Emergency General Surgery with elective work to meet waiting targets, with a weekend on-call rota and a venue across Gloucestershire's hospitals.

The successful candidates will join a team of 18 surgeons, share inpatient workload, and drive ambulatory pathways and hot clinics to reduce SAU attendances while
