The Role

You'll be stepping into a hybrid Clinical Lead position combining hands-on testing with national clinical oversight:

3 days per week remote working from home 2 days per week testing in practice in practice in the North East. Leading clinical standards across multiple UK locations Acting as a key decision-maker for clinical queries and escalations Supporting optometrists with complex cases and second opinions Driving consistency, quality, and best practice across the board Playing a central role in clinical governance and service development Coaching, mentoring, and developing Optometrists at all levels Working from Home - The Reality

This isn't "light admin from home", your remote days are where you'll have the biggest impact.

From your home base, you'll be:

Reviewing and advising on clinical cases nationwide Providing expert input on complex patient presentations Leading virtual clinical discussions and case reviews Supporting optometrists with real-time clinical decision-making Helping shape and refine clinical pathways and protocols Feeding directly into senior leadership on clinical performance and quality You'll have full access to systems and clinical data, allowing you to stay deeply involved without needing to be physically in practice.
