Hours of work: 40 hour week Mon-Fri 8-5 (hour lunch unpaid)

Purpose of JobTo carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs to Split Air Conditioning Units, Variable Refrigerant Volume Systems, Chillers, Air Handling Units and other associated plant within various buildings. To assist site staff with operational status of buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
- Identify any defects found to CBRE Site contact and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
- Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
- Complete refrigeration usage sheets for all gas used.
- Complete OP6 & OP6A log sheets accurately.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
- To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
- To follow EOPs and elevate accordingly when incident occur.
- Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment.
- To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.
- Ensure refrigerants are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.
- Maintain the professional image of CBRE Services at all times.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all CBRE employees and clients' representatives.
- Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.
- To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times
- Keep all buildings F-Gas registers up to date.
- Assist with the up skilling of the onsite staff in reference to working with refrigeration systems.
- Be available to carry out pre-arranged works out of nearly business hours works dependant on operational causes.
- Take part in relevant training courses determined necessary by CBRE.
- Supervising and monitoring of CBRE sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
- To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
- To undertake lone working when and where required
- Accountable to the Supervisor and Campus Manager.
- The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff.
- This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility
- Following all H&S policies.
- A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
- Formally trained in electrical/mechanical/refrigeration maintenance.
- BMS Knowledge.
- Experience (Essential) of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
- Aptitudes good verbal communication skills
- Good written English skills
- Character committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.Calm manner, able to work under pressure.
- Able to make sound decisions when needed.
- Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.
- Able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment.
- Able to work at heights.
- Experience of working in a critical environment/data centre.
- A team player, able to work with CBRE clients representatives at all levels.
- Relevant F-gas Qualification
