Humanities Teacher - RE / History / Geography Stockport

Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher looking for a new long-term opportunity in Stockport?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Stockport from September 2026. The role would suit a teacher specialising in RE, History or Geography who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students.

The Role:

• Teach engaging Humanities lessons across the relevant subject area
• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
• Support students in making strong academic progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in RE, History or Geography
• Previous experience teaching within a UK secondary school
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about education and supporting young people
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
