Job Description
I am looking for an Associate Human Resources Professional for my biotech client from Breda.
Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day HR administration: Contracts, memos, resignations, changes in work time, changes in job, parental/maternity leaves, changes in compensation & benefits, vitality allowance requests, etc.
- Manages all necessary HR Administrative transactions in Workday.
- Acts as a linking pin between the NL Affiliate HR team and Payroll and HR Connect for HR operations, policies, processes, and questions.
- Manages relationship with external suppliers/parties (e.g., UWV, SVB, car fleet management, occupational health service provider), including administration of contracts and payment of invoices.
- Ensures compliance with local labor laws through review of work contracts and status changes.
- Ensures compliance with local labor laws through review of local policies and procedures.
- Ensures accurate and compliant pay and benefits administration.
- Ensures HR processes and benefits are communicated and understood by employees.
- Ensures employees' files are in order, including job descriptions.
- Supports illness management by the correct administration of illness cases and contact with the case manager.
- Provides input on request to support internal and external audits.
- If necessary, conducts HR programs such as orientation, employee relations meetings, etc.
- Coordinate onboarding, migration, mobility, and payroll processes.
- Deals with disciplinaries and grievances when needed.
- Can participate in and lead HR projects if necessary.
- Serves as backup support for HR Ops specialist in ABR HR.
- Ensures HR efficiency and provides input on how to optimize processes.
- Answers day-to-day employee and manager questions with a service-oriented mindset

Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (or a relevant other study) or a master's/bachelor's student in Human Resources study
- 1-2 years of relevant HR experience (potentially through an internship)
- Knowledge of HR processes and understanding of the basics of Dutch Labor Law
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication (Must have - Good Understanding of Dutch)
- Computer skills
- Experience in Workday administration is preferred
