Job Description

Head of HR - Global Tech Company

Location: Marbella, Spain

Reporting to: Chief of Staff

Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 + bonus + benefits


About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR to lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions within a fast-growing and innovative organisation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the people strategy, build robust HR practices, and ensure compliance with both UK and EU employment laws. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and legally compliant work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across the UK and EU.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provide strategic advice and operational support to senior management.
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead on HR data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a scaling or high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across the UK and EU.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and policy implementation.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage both high-level planning and day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
