HSE Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our client. This role involves travel across the operating area, including occasional trips for team meetings. The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence, access to their own vehicle, and be comfortable with travel.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, delivering expert advice on HSE.
- Provide competent coaching and guidance, working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote visible safety leadership and implement initiatives to establish a strong safety mindset.
- Conduct safety visits in various settings, providing guidance, leading by example, and recommending practices for improvement.
- Offer support and expert advice on occupational health hazards and conduct in-field monitoring.
- Promote good environmental operational awareness and practices within the organisation.
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify and ensure understanding of HSE policies and procedures.
- Lead the incident management process, providing expertise in reporting, root cause analysis, and identifying preventative measures.
- Deliver HSE induction training to align new colleagues with the organisation's safety vision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience as a health and safety advisor, ideally with a NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Proven track record in reviewing and developing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Skilled in incident classification and leading investigations.
- Ability to develop engaging safety training and workshops.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive and trusted relationships.
