HR Systems Analyst

A quick look at the role.
The HR Systems Analyst provides effective, accurate and timely day to day functional systems administration support for the HR systems (primarily Dayforce and ServiceNow, but other systems are potentially in scope for the future). You will maintain a high level of customer service and ensure compliance with company operating procedures, security of employee information and compliance with legal obligations. You will also conduct analysis and provide support for IT application support activities requiring HR systems functional expertise.

Your core responsibilities.
- Perform routine and ad hoc data audits to ensure the integrity of data in HR systems. Analyse results and coordinate data cleanse activities to improve data quality and reliability. Maintain a log of data issues and participate in data governance forums.
- Conduct routine and ad hoc systems administration tasks using the HR Systems, including maintenance, and administration of organisational design components within the HR system and all Business Improvement activities. Key areas of responsibility include Shift Rotations, Pay, Entitlement and Time Entry Policy Configuration, Data Mapping, Job Assignment Management, Organisational design, Contract Matrices and Biffa Contract production solutions.
- Manage and carry out bulk uploads of data to the HR systems. Support projects, such as TUPEs, acquisitions, terms and conditions changes, annual pay reviews and other projects which have HR systems implications.
- Conduct data purge and archive routines in accordance with data retention policies and schedules.
- Manage and administer day to day user provisioning in accordance with company security policy and controls and manage user access queries to support all users of the HR Systems.
- Deal with client enquiries and service requests in relation to HR Systems within agreed timescales, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining accurate case information in appropriate systems.
- Partner with colleagues in IT/Configuration and HR Product Team to manage queries and to support IT and HR led activities such as upgrades, testing and system maintenance activities. Contribute to development of the HR systems roadmap, identification of business requirements, and adoption of new functionality.
- Ensure standard operating procedures and/or local work instructions are developed and maintained for all HR Systems administration tasks and processes.
- Support, design and deliver HR systems training; coordinate and participate in super user focus groups, communications, and events.
- Participate in and contribute to product forums and maintain up to date knowledge of new system functionality.

Our essential requirements
- Systems administration and/or reporting experience
- Experience of working with Cloud/SaaS systems and the systems administration, preferably with an HR or payroll product
- Experience of producing reports using software, such as Power BI or other reporting tools
- Confident with all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and manipulate large volumes of complex data
