About The Role:

As HR Support Administrator, you will be joining a friendly and supportive HR Support function and will play a key role in delivering efficient, accurate, and responsive HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role is central to ensuring smooth day to day HR operations while supporting managers and employees with a positive, timely, high quality service. This role will be based in our Ipswich head office, on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate Right to Work documentation for all new starters in line with UK Home Office requirements.
  • Support the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation and systems are accurately updated.
  • Triage and respond to HR queries via Zendesk ticketing system and phone calls.
  • Escalate complex queries to relevant HR colleagues while maintaining ownership of resolution tracking.
    Prepare and issue employment references and confirmation of employment letters.
  • Process contract variations and changes to personal details.
  • Coordinate leaver correspondence and ensure accurate offboarding documentation.
  • Administer maternity, paternity, and other family leave processes.
  • Track and update absence records and probationary reviews.
In order to be successful within the role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role.
  • Some understanding of UK Right to Work legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Zendesk or similar helpdesk platforms desirable.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
