We have a new opportunity for an HR Specialist to be an important part of our small and friendly People team. Our offices are located conveniently close to Westminster, St James Park and Victoria stations, and you will have considerable flexibility around working from home. What you'll be doing Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the HR Specialist will sit at the centre of the company, supporting the activities of departments and individuals as we continue to grow. Our head office is in London and we also have a growing presence in the US, based out of offices in Washington DC but covering the whole country.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational HR-related queries, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Work with colleagues to identify training and professional development opportunities
  • Support managers with employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals
  • Handle compensation and benefits administration.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Responsible for our HR systems and processes and ensuring updates, process improvements and so on.
  • Work with Compliance colleagues on HR elements of risk and compliance management.
  • Lead any HR opportunities with AI and appropriate technology evolution.

What we're looking for The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and adaptable individual, with at least a few years' post-graduate HR experience, and will have undertaken some CIPD qualifications (we will fully support you in continuing those studies).

You will bring a friendly, positive and open attitude, with a customer-centric approach to supporting your colleagues across the company.
