The Role:

AsIAm is seeking a HR Officer who will champion inclusive, neuroaffirming HR practices and deliver support that is person-centred and grounded in empathy and respect. The successful candidate will provide operational recruitment and HR support to the People and Culture function. Reporting to the HR Manager the successful candidate will support the full employee lifecycle and help strengthen our people practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong employee experiences, improving processes, and contributing to an inclusive and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Co-ordinate end to end recruitment activities working in close collaboration with the relevant hiring manager.
  • Prepare vacancy advertisements, conduct screenings, schedule interviews and co-ordinate communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System and support hiring managers in navigating the system.
  • Co-ordinate the offer process including contract documentation, pre-employment checks and pre-onboarding communications.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics and provide timely reports to the HR Manager.
  • Pro-actively co-ordinate accommodations and champion inclusive recruitment practices by designing neuroinclusive processes that support all candidates.

Onboarding and Probation

  • Coordinate the onboarding and induction processes in collaboration with the hiring manager to ensure new employees have a positive, neuroinclusive and well-supported start.
  • Deliver HR onboarding training to all new employees.
  • Support Managers with the probation process and ensure probation reviews are completed on time.

HR Administration and Employee Support

  • Provide day to day HR administrative support with a timely, accurate and people centred approach.
  • Support managers with performance appraisal and leave management and ensure all records and documentation are accurately tracked and maintained on the HRIS.
  • Provide responsive, respectful and neuroinclusive support to employees, addressing queries and guiding them through HR processes, policies and procedures.
  • Support health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.

HR Policies, procedures and processes

  • Support in developing, updating, and maintaining HR policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Continuously review and refine HR processes to enhance accessibility, fairness and efficiency across the employee lifecycle.

HRIS

  • Maintain and update the HRIS to ensure accurate employee records, support reporting needs and enable managers and employees to confidently navigate the system.
  • Monitor data quality and ensure HR information is stored securely, consistently and in alignment with organisational policies.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HRIS functionality.

Employee Relations

  • Provide first line guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring respectful, fair and neuroinclusive handling of concerns.
  • Assist in early stage conflict resolution using people centred, empathetic approaches.
Key Requirements:
  • A relevant professional qualification or previous HR experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience co-ordinating the full recruitment cycle.
  • Experience preparing employment documentation and maintaining HR records.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and Irish employment legislation.
  • Previous experience with HR administrative processes.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using HR Information Systems.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Applies a person centred approach that prioritises respect, understanding and meaningful connection in all HR interactions.
  • Understands or is willing to learn about neuroaffirmative HR practices.
Contract Duration:

This role is full-time and permanent.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary will align with Grade IV of the HSE Consolidated Pay Scale. In addition, we offer:

Working Hours:

The role is fulltime and working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility around start and finish times.

The role holder is required to have a degree of flexibility regarding working hours with the expectation of some evening and weekend work.

Location:

The role is based in AsIAm HQ in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Hybrid working arrangements can be facilitated in discussion with the line manager.
