HR Manager (Temp 4 months)

My client is seeking for a proactive HR Manager (part-time) to support their HR function during a period of transition. The role involves strengthening HR processes, embedding a new HR system and supporting HR administrators.

• Temporary - 4 Months, (Potential to Extend)
• Hybrid - Primarily Remote (1 day on-site per week)
• Hours: 25-30 per week, part-time
• Salary: £20.50 per hour
• Sector: Charity / Education preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Support HR administrators with HR processes
• Verify and quality-check HR data
• Support recruitment, on boarding, and induction
• Update HR policies and ensure compliance
• Establish HR audit procedures (safer recruitment, equality, absence management, training)
• Support pay and contract reviews
• Provide generalist HR advice and manage ER cases

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced HR generalist at HR Manager level
• Hands-on, collaborative, and happy to coach HR administrators
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, governance, and compliance
• Charity or education sector experience advantageous
