Job Description

Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for an 8-month HR Manager contract in Naas, Co. Kildare

Immediate start required

Fully office based

Stand alone vacancy

  • Continuously develop and maintain effective HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local and state laws, and effectively communicate these policies to all employees.
  • Provide guidance and leadership across all departments, supporting talent development and retention, effective employee relations, reward schemes, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Manage succession planning and headcount planning, including the completion of annual reviews.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, including job advertising, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding administration, including work permit and visa applications.
  • Develop and maintain effective employee relations practices that contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including absenteeism, annual leave, employment contracts, reward schemes, pay rates, and other employee documentation, in conjunction with the Payroll Department.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organisation, including Continuous Improvement, Quality, and other departments, to support wider organisational initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters and HR processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of HR processes and initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and HR analytics relating to absenteeism, Learning & Development, and other HR metrics, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to support the organisation's Health & Safety culture, workplace safety policies, and HR-related compliance requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement training and development plans, alongside performance reviews and job analysis, to strengthen organisational capability.
The Person
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant HR, Business, or Learning & Development discipline, with 3+ years' relevant experience.
  • CIPD accredited.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment legislation, Irish labour laws, and Learning & Development principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate, persuade, and influence others effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • High levels of discretion and integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
