HR Manager - Full Time and Permanent, Taunton / Wellington, Somerset- with travel, Hybrid opportunity, £45,000 - £55,000 
We are recruiting an experienced HR Manager to work with a well-established, multi-site care provider in Somerset and Devon.
What you'll be doing- Leading the HR function across multiple nursing homes.
- Providing expert advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
- Managing workplace investigations and supporting conflict resolution.
- Developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
- Leading recruitment campaigns and supporting onboarding and retention initiatives.
- Working alongside the Training Manager to oversee inductions, probation and mandatory training compliance.
- Producing HR reports and analysing metrics, including absence, turnover and recruitment activity.
- Supporting wellbeing initiatives, occupational health referrals and return-to-work plans.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safer recruitment practices, DBS requirements and CQC standards.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within the care sector.
- Strong employee relations experience, including managing disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting managers across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of safer recruitment, DBS processes and CQC compliance.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- CIPD Level 5 (or above) is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
- Experience within multi-site healthcare environments would be highly advantageous.
- Salary of £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
