Job Description
The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor across the full employee lifecycle, combining strategic business partnering with hands-on HR delivery. You will support a diverse client group, helping to shape people strategy, enhance performance, and deliver a high-quality employee experience.

This is a broad and visible role offering exposure to complex employee relations, organisational change, talent development, and operational excellence within a fast-paced professional services setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver proactive HR support aligned to business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including complex and sensitive cases.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, leadership, and people strategy.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and workforce planning.
  • Oversee performance review processes and contribute to talent and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to support hiring and resourcing strategies.
  • Lead and develop junior HR team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Review and enhance HR policies, processes, and systems to drive efficiency and best practice.
  • Analyse people data and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Support diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
About You

This role will suit someone who brings:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, with the ability to manage complex cases confidently.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a partnership or matrix structure.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance business needs and HR best practice.
  • Experience leading or developing HR team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).
