We are searching for an experienced HR Consultant.

We are seeking a credible, commercially minded HR Consultant to join our growing Pay & People consultancy team. This is a client facing role for an experienced HR professional operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HRBP level, comfortable working directly with clients and delivering high quality HR consultancy across a varied portfolio.

You will support and lead client engagements, providing practical and strategic HR advice, contributing to proposals and business development activity, and helping shape new products and service offerings. This role suits a self starter who enjoys autonomy, variety and responsibility, and who is motivated by delivering tangible value for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver HR consultancy services to a portfolio of clients, operating at HRBP or Senior HRBP level.
  • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
  • Support clients with people challenges including performance, absence, restructuring, reward, engagement and capability.
  • Manage day to day client relationships under the guidance of an Assistant Director or Senior HR Consultant.
  • Proactively identify client needs and opportunities to add value.
  • Support retention and growth of client accounts through high quality delivery and relationship management.
  • Contribute to proposals, scoping documents and statements of work.
  • Support business development activity with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell HR, payroll and compliance services as part of an integrated offering.
  • Support the delivery of workshops, webinars and roundtables for clients and prospects.
  • Work closely with payroll, HR compliance and senior consultancy colleagues to deliver joined up solutions.
Qualifications
  • Strong HR generalist background operating at HRBP or Senior HRBP level.
  • Experience working directly with a client base, either in consultancy or complex multi stakeholder environments.
  • Solid practical knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confidence operating independently and managing multiple client engagements.
  • Commercial awareness and interest in contributing to business development activity.
  • Strong communication skills with the credibility to advise managers and senior stakeholders.
