As an HR Business Partner, you act as a strategic sparring partner for managers and executive leadership, taking ownership of a defined business area. You advise on all people-related topics, manage recruiting processes, support change initiatives, and continuously develop Berger's people processes together with the HR team.
Business Partnering & Advisory- Advise and support managers on operational and strategic HR matters
- Support organizational development and change initiatives
- Contribute to performance and talent management processes
- Act as a sparring partner on feedback, team, and leadership topics
- Full responsibility for recruiting processes within the assigned area
- Active sourcing, conducting interviews, and managing the process through to contract signing
- Ensure a professional, respectful, and engaging candidate journey
- Drafting and adapting employment contracts and HR documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Austrian labor law and internal guidelines
- Close collaboration with payroll, time management, and HR systems
- Maintaining structured HR data and supporting HR analytics initiatives
- Participation in HR projects such as employer branding, employee retention, and learning & development
- Supporting managers in workforce planning and budgeting processes
- Ongoing development of HR tools, processes, and standards
- Completed degree with a focus on HR or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role
- Solid knowledge of Austrian labor law
- Experience in recruiting and ideally with HR systems
- Strong consulting skills, excellent communication, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Analytical thinking and a structured, reliable way of working
- High service orientation, team spirit, and discretion

For this position, the collective agreement for employees in the freight forwarding and logistics sector applies. Actual compensation will be market-based and significantly above the collective agreement minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
