Venn Group is delighted to be recruiting for an HR Business Partner on behalf of a respected charitable organisation operating across Kent and Surrey.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a values-driven organisation that delivers essential services within local communities. Working closely with senior leaders and managers, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support, helping to shape people initiatives, drive organisational effectiveness and ensure an excellent employee experience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and senior stakeholders
- Support the development and delivery of people strategies aligned to organisational objectives
- Lead on a range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management
- Contribute to organisational change programmes, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives
- Review, develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Analyse workforce data and provide insights to support informed decision-making
- Support talent management, learning and development, recruitment and succession planning activities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience working as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR advisory capacity
- Strong employee relations experience with sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Proven ability to influence, challenge and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
- CIPD qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector is desirable, though candidates from other sectors are encouraged to apply
Location: Kent & Surrey (hybrid working with travel across both counties required)
Duration: Permanent
Pay rate: £50,000 per annum + Benefits
Working hours: Full-time
Working pattern: Hybrid
