- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, providing insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making and business outcomes.
- Advise on organisational design, change management and workforce planning, ensuring structures and capabilities meet current and future needs.
- Promote an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports wellbeing, engagement and values-led leadership.
- Contribute to transformation activity, offering people-focused insight and influencing decisions to improve performance and employee experience.
- Lead establishment and resource planning aligned to operational demand and budgets, maintaining appropriate capacity and capability.
- Forecast workforce requirements with Finance and leaders, using data to address skill gaps, succession and workforce resilience.
- Support fair and collaborative deployment of people resources in line with operational and organisational priorities.
- Provide on-call advice for urgent people matters, managing risk while supporting colleagues and continuity.
- Ensure people practices comply with legal and ethical standards through consistent application of employment legislation and policy.
- Partner with People specialists and coach managers to strengthen leadership capability and team performance.
- Use people analytics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, informing planning and decision-making.
- Lead and support people projects across the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment, risk management and successful delivery.
- Maintain constructive industrial relations through proactive engagement with trade unions and staff groups.
- CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business, or Organisational Development).
- Extensive experience in a senior HR or People Partnering role
- Expertise in resource and establishment planning for aviation functional activity.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law in regulated or unionised environments.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and on-call HR operations.
- High resilience and ability to operate in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
