We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our global media organisation on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a client group of approximately 1,200 employees, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including close partnership with the Co-CEOs, to drive people strategy and manage complex employee relations matters.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role requiring strong ER expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to operate confidently at executive level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Partnership
    • Partner directly with the Co-CEOs and senior leadership teams to align people strategy with business objectives
    • Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
    • Act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters across a global, matrixed environment
  • Employee Relations (ER)
    • Lead and manage complex, high-risk ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and exit processes
    • Ensure consistency, fairness, and legal compliance across all regions
    • Coach and upskill leaders to confidently handle ER matters
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing and challenging where appropriate
    • Support leadership capability through coaching and development conversations
  • Change & Transformation
    • Support ongoing transformation initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, and cultural change programmes
    • Drive engagement and communication strategies during periods of change
  • Policy & Compliance
    • Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with local employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions
    • Partner with legal and regional HR teams as required
  • Data & Insights
    • Leverage people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the business
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within a complex, global organisation (media or creative industries preferred)
  • Strong and demonstrable Employee Relations expertise is essential
  • Experience supporting large, diverse populations (1,000+ employees)
  • Ability to operate at senior/executive level with credibility and confidence
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
  • Experience managing organisational change and transformation
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity, and deliver pragmatic solutions
