Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor / HR Generalist ready to transition into a Business Partnering role. Our HR Business Partnering model has been impactful in the UK, and we aim to evolve it further to increase value. The HR team adopts a hands-on approach, supporting operational improvements and processes.
This role is based in London. We operate a hybrid model, with approximately 10 days per month in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business needs, diagnose issues, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Manage relationships with HR Operations and Recruitment to ensure smooth processes.
- Handle employee relations cases independently, providing employment law or policy advice.
- Review metrics like engagement surveys, exit interviews, absence data, and attrition rates to identify improvement areas.
- Coach and advise managers on HR policies and best practices; provide training to develop management skills.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, restructures, and change management projects.
- Enhance employee experience and lifecycle, support benefits strategy, and drive engagement initiatives.
- Develop training programs, policies, templates, and manager toolkits.
- Support projects such as apprenticeships, graduate onboarding, skills gap analysis, and HR tech enhancements involving AI.
Candidate Profile:
- Several years of HR generalist experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience in consultancy or complex matrix environments is a plus.
- CIPD Level 7 or working towards it.
- Experience in Employee Relations, handling cases from parental leave to restructuring and TUPE.
- Knowledge of employment law and policy advisory.
- Strong stakeholder management skills supporting diverse needs.
- Customer-focused with attention to detail and organisation.
- Experience in developing training, policies, and manager toolkits.
- Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
