HR Business Partner - Amsterdam

A prestigious financial services organisation in Amsterdam is seeking a high-performing Dutch speaking HR Business Partner to join their international HR team. This is a permanent opportunity offering a broad scope across both strategic projects and day-to-day HR operations.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will support a population of senior stakeholders across the Netherlands and wider EMEA region. You will work closely with business leaders to shape and deliver the people agenda in line with strategic business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all people-related matters
  • Driving initiatives across talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Supporting organisational change and transformation projects
  • Delivering core HR processes including performance management, ER, compensation cycles, and workforce planning
  • Partnering with Centres of Excellence on L&D, Reward, and Recruitment activities
  • Providing hands-on operational HR support as required

You will be a commercially minded HR professional with a background in financial or professional services, ideally in an international environment. We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HRBP role with both strategic and operational exposure
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to challenge and influence at senior levels
  • Thorough understanding of Dutch labour law and HR practices
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong problem-solving mindset
