Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with HR leaders and management on projects to create an engaging workplace.
- Handle HR inquiries and administrative tasks, including onboarding, self-service tools, and attendance reviews.
- Create reports for leadership using internal dashboards.
- Plan initiatives to promote employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies, data protection, employment laws, and HR best practices.
This role involves on-site work with direct contact with warehouse teams. Depending on your location, you may work on rotation with other HR assistants, ensuring support is always available for employees. Your responsibilities include managing HR processes, supporting team projects, collecting employee feedback, and fostering an inclusive environment.
About the TeamThe Customer Fulfilment (CF) team at Amazon has evolved from a small team of booksellers to a global operation handling over 1.5 million orders daily. Based in Fulfilment Centres, our team manages inventory and facilitates quick deliveries, with opportunities for various skillsets, from physical product handling to data analysis.
Basic Qualifications- Relevant experience in HR, Employee Relations, or Payroll
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with onboarding processes and HR administration
- Basic knowledge of employment law and HR/payroll practices
