HR Advisor (People Lead) | Hybrid - Barrow-in-Furness
Up to £32,000 + benefits
Barrow-in-Furness (2-3 days onsite, rest remote)
SC Eligible/Sole UK Nationals only
We're hiring a HR Advisor/People Lead to support the development of high-performing teams within a fast-paced, operational environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR generalist experience who enjoys working closely with managers and teams to drive performance, engagement, and capability.
The RoleAs a key point of contact for people-related matters, you will:
- Lead performance reviews, appraisals, and career development conversations
- Support workforce planning and resource management
- Manage employee relations issues and handle challenging conversations
- Act as an escalation point for people and team-related concerns
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure teams are resourced and performing effectively
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor/People Advisor/HR Generalist
- Strong background in performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Experience supporting or leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills across technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Ability to balance people support with business needs
- Exposure to IT/Infrastructure/End User Services environments (desirable)
- Coaching or mentoring experience
- Must be a sole UK national and eligible for SC clearance
- Must be able to travel to Barrow-in-Furness 2-3 days per week
