We are currently setting up a HR Services Hub to service our sites and businesses across Ireland, the UK and Northern Ireland. This Services Hub will provide comprehensive solutions for employees, managers and other business partners through HR technology and common processes.
The employee population for this client group is approximately 350, ranging from the most senior executives in the business to manufacturing sites.
This role will be hybrid-based in our Ossett site in the UK and will report to the HR Hub Services Lead. As HR Advisor you will provide support and guidance on human resources matters, including employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance with UK labour laws. Key responsibilities include coaching managers, assisting with recruitment and performance management, ensuring policy adherence, and handling employee engagement and change management initiatives. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of employment law, and the ability to manage sensitive HR situations effectively.

What will I be doing?- Advise and coach managers and employees on various HR-related issues and conflicts.
- Ensure HR policies are understood and implemented correctly across the organization.
- Oversee or support the hiring, payment, and departure of staff.
- Support and guide managers on performance-related matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations in UK to ensure workplace compliance.
- Work with HR teams to develop and implement strategies for employee engagement and manage change initiatives.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to all customers at all times.
- Act as a second point of escalation for any complex stakeholder issues, where guidance or the benefit of deeper experience is required and ensure that all issues are dealt with in a prompt, professional and efficient manner.
- Work with Talent and Learning team to identify people management training needs and support coordination and delivery as appropriate.
- Manage cases in the most complex or large-scale cases with legal implications and coordinate the case manage process using the required technology and methods of communication, looking for opportunities to resolve the matters informally where appropriate.
- Co ordinating and delivering training and development to People Managers.
- Providing evidence based advice and guidance to People Managers on emerging trends and patterns in their area and among their team members. Supporting them to address people challenges on the horizon. This may include absence trends, rising cases of disciplinary or grievance.
- Providing insightful, intelligent reporting to customers to support and maximise business performance.
- Working across the HR team to deliver and improve SLA's and performance, thereby demonstrating added value to the business.
- Fostering a culture of service excellence with your colleagues, role modelling this and coaching other team members to deliver true "best in class" services to all.

These include:- HR or related qualification or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in HR.
- The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with employees and management.
- Thorough knowledge of UK labour laws and regulations.
- Previous experience in working in a fast paced client facing environment.
- Detail conscious, rigorous, professional, responsible, organised and methodical.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience.
