Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Office Based with 1 Day per Week Hybrid Working
An established manufacturing business in Canterbury is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers, providing practical HR support, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the business
- Support managers with employee development and workforce planning
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with payroll-related administration and employee changes
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce and analyse HR reports and management information
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Administration role
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience managing employee relations cases
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- CIPD qualified or studying towards CIPD would be advantageous
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar environment would be beneficial
