Job Description
HR Operations Advisor
Location: Swindon (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite, including Wednesdays)
Contract: Initial 3 months
We are seeking experienced HR Operations Advisors for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading public sector organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations casework, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Coach and support managers to ensure consistent, compliant and effective people management.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and external partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and ways of working.
- Analyse HR data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to HR projects, organisational change initiatives and learning activities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working within an operational HR environment.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR knowledge and experience.
- Strong employee relations case management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence, coach and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Sound judgement and decision-making within HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience with Oracle Fusion HR.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
