HR - Employee Relations Business Partner

As an experienced Human Resources Specialist, you will report to one of the Chief HR Officers as their site trusted ER advisor, coaching site leaders and colleagues across two main hospitals. You will leverage your expertise in employee relations to provide professional, proactive, and solutions-focused support, ensuring consistent HR practices and a compliant, supportive work environment where employees feel valued and empowered.
Main duties of the job- Identify workforce trends or emerging issues and propose solutions to enhance the employee experience.
- Partner with legal advisors to ensure compliance and effective resolution of complex cases.

- Coach and support managers on all people matters, providing timely first-line support.
- Manage capability, disciplinary, and grievance procedures fairly and consistently.
- Support managers and colleagues during hearings, tribunals, and formal meetings with documentation and guidance.
- Chartered member of the CIPD (preferred).
- Extensive expertise in Employee Relations and employment law.
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve issues and improve HR policies and processes.
- Effective presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience partnering with legal teams on complex cases or litigation.
- Ability to travel between two hospital sites in London.
- Chartered member of the CIPD (preferred).

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A Disclosure check will be required to verify any criminal convictions.
Depending on experience, the salary is competitive, with private health coverage included.
