Job Description
HQ Stock Control Administrator

Salary: £13.00 per hour.

Location: Motorpoint, Champion House (Salisbury House), Wyvern Business Park, Derby DE21 6LY.

Contract Type: Maternity Cover - Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

Oversees the day to day vehicle stock control and supplier recharge processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency of records, documentation and vehicle readiness across the business.

  • Complete vehicle damage assessments and support the recharge process.
  • Review refurb reports to confirm all actions, updates and costs are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with purchasing vehicle parts, keys and general items as required.
  • Track, log and manage vehicle Bookpack items and administer associated documentation.
  • Coordinate posting of vehicle documentation to stores.
  • Monitor central requests, handling related queries and calls.
  • Support monthly reporting activities and maintain accurate administrative records.
  • Assist other stock control teams during peak periods.
  • Conduct key, part and SD card audits; maintain exception report and scanned documents.
  • Order missing items, source cost effective replacement parts and recharge suppliers.
  • Maintain open communication with suppliers to resolve issues and prepare reports.
  • Support the department in meeting customer service (NPS) targets.
  • Collaborate with broader Supply Chain operations to ensure efficient coordination.
  • Adapt to additional tasks within the department as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Problem solving skills focused on prompt solutions.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and commitment to high standards of customer service.
