Housing Construction Commissioning & Contracts Manager

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Housing Construction Commissioning & Contracts Manager on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

As part of the Commissioning & Contracts team, your key challenge will be to act as a catalyst and work with our client's stakeholders to improve contract management with existing contractors, setting a benchmark for supplier relationship management and ensuring that contractors are held accountable for contract performance. You will also support housing teams to bring in additional contractor resource, using your market knowledge and incorporating resident feedback and wider priorities to develop robust specifications and performance metrics for new contracts, that will deliver the outcomes that are important to the community whilst ensuring value for money for all residents.

As a key stakeholder and Commercial professional, you will actively promote best practice at all levels. This is an unique opportunity for ambitious, self-starters to deliver meaningful change to the residents across the circa 21,000 properties managed by the client.
