Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Training Ground - Seagrave, Leicestershire

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We're looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who enjoys being part of a close knit team, leads by example, and believes that doing the small things well - together - makes a big difference.

About the role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play an important role in overseeing day to day housekeeping operations while remaining actively involved on the floor. You'll help plan, organise, and supervise cleaning operations across the Training Ground, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer care at all times.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and where teamwork and attention to detail really matter.

What you'll be doing
  • Supervising and supporting the Housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards
  • Carrying out housekeeping duties yourself and leading by example
  • Promoting a safe, welcoming environment in line with Health & Safety legislation
  • Working closely with the Head of Training Ground Facilities to review and improve service standards
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure housekeeping activities run smoothly alongside theirs
  • Managing rotas to ensure appropriate cover across the Training Ground
  • Making sure the team has the right tools, equipment, and resources to do their job well
  • Ensuring equipment and machinery are cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for supplies and linen
  • Supporting the training, development, and performance of team membersCompleting daily site walks, identifying any issues and ensuring they're resolved
  • Liaising with external cleaning contractors and ensuring standards, confidentiality, and site procedures are followed
  • Helping to foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture
  • Supporting with any other duties as required by the Head of Training Ground Facilities
What we're looking for

You'll already have experience working in housekeeping, and ideally in a supervisory or senior role. Most importantly, you'll care about quality, teamwork, and taking pride in your environment.

  • Previous experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role
  • Excellent cleaning skills and a strong eye for detail
  • The ability to juggle tasks in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • A calm, professional, and approachable manner
  • Confidence communicating with and guiding others
  • A genuine team player mindset with the ability to lead by example
  • Experience of completing housekeeping audits
  • Flexibility and adaptability when situations change
  • A proactive, reliable, and trustworthy approach
Role requirements
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and public holidays as required
