Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor at Bailbrook House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Bailbrook House Hotel is a prestigious luxury country house hotel, located within the beautiful city of Bath. The hotel has 88 bedrooms and has been awarded 4 Silver stars by the AA. It serves as a popular venue for relaxing weekends, weddings, and events.

About the Role
  • The role of a Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms are clean and maintained to a very high standard, creating a magical first impression.
  • You will play a key role in creating a home-from-home experience, making sure each room is replenished with a fresh supply of towels and toiletries.
  • Cover the responsibilities of the Head Housekeeper during periods of absence or annual leave.
  • Attention to detail is key - you will have an eye for perfection in making sure the public areas as well as the rooms are immaculate.
  • Ensure guests can experience brand luxuries by setting up tea, coffee and biscuit stations, delivering personalized amenities, including for four legged guests.
  • Be an expert in your field with the ability to check the rooms and support colleagues when needed.
  • Demonstrate inspiration, fun, and enjoyment as part of the Hand Picked Team.
  • This is a full time role working 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.

  • Have housekeeping or cleaning experience and be comfortable working alone and as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.

  • Be enthusiastic, willing to take on new responsibilities, and adopt a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
  • Demonstrate how you would deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a high quality, personalized, magical experience they remember.
