Job Description 
Housekeeping Assistant at Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis, South Street, Oxfordshire, OX12 9 RG. Salary: £12.90 per hour with paid breaks and Bupa benefits. Permanent, full time 40 hours per week, including alternative weekends. Shift pattern: weekdays 12:00pm - 8:00pm, weekends 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Responsibilities- Ensure that residents' care home facilities, public areas and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
- Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers.
- Empty bins regularly.
- Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors.
- Clean carpets and upholstery, wash woodwork, windows, door panels and sills.
- Wash, dry and iron residents' clothing, bedding and communal laundry, including for on site care home residents.
- Report all safety hazards to management and ensure compliance with Health and Safety and COSHH standards.
- Experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role.
- Basic understanding of infection control, COSHH and compliance standards.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to forge enduring relationships with colleagues, residents and families.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team across functions and services.
