Housekeeping Assistant - Bank. Location: Shockerwick House Care Home, Lower Shockerwick, Bath BA1 7LL.
Contract: Bank. Salary: £13.30 per hour. CQC rating: Good. Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.8 / 10.
Shockerwick House is an historic building that has been lovingly converted into a care facility, offering nursing and residential care, convalescence, palliative, short stays for a minimum of one week and day care. The home is located on the outskirts of Bath's World Heritage Site and includes wheelchair friendly gardens.
Responsibilities- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Vacuum, mop floors, polish and ensure upkeep of communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
- Maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Take pride in ensuring work is always completed to a high standard and maintain an organised environment.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and multitask, working with other teams when necessary.
