Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant Hospital (Bank)

Wessex Hospital - Cleaning - Ad hoc - Part time - Salary £13.10 per hour

At Nuffield Health, the UK's largest healthcare charity, our hospitals' cleanliness is a top priority. We're looking for a Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for patients. You'll use the latest equipment and products, supported by a first class training programme. Your responsibilities will include room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Care about our patients so you can organise your work and plan your time with assistance from our Heads of Housekeeping to ensure cleaning never interferes with a patient's experience.
• Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills, which will help you work effectively with colleagues and when interacting with patients.
• Stay motivated, friendly and flexible.
• Have prior experience in a similar role, be well organised and ensure cleaning processes are followed to keep the location clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
• Work closely with the infection prevention team and report incidents to the relevant team members.

Work Schedule

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

About Wessex Hospital

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a 46 bed private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, urology, women's health and spinal surgery. The hospital also provides onsite radiology, pathology, pharmacy, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, ensuring a complete package of care. We have 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en suite facilities, a 24 hour resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres plus one endoscopy suite.
