A family based in SO45 seeks a Full-time Live-in Housekeeper Cook to support the smooth running of their private household. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a cook, either in a private domestic setting or on restaurant environment. Someone confident, organised, hands-on, and passionate about fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced food would be ideal for this role. A driver with their own car is required for this role. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 20:00, with a 2-hour break during the day. Around 50 hours per week. Accommodation: 1 bedroom flat, above a stable block, living room, bedroom, small kitchen. Duties include: - cooking fresh family meals- preparing family lunches and dinners from Thursday to Sunday- preparing working lunches on Thursdays and Fridays when required- using fresh produce from the kitchen garden and local suppliers- harvesting fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden- processing seasonal gluts of fruit and vegetables- handling all types of meat and fish confidently- working with home game, fresh produce, and farm-sourced ingredients- keeping the kitchen, house bar, and dry store clean and fully stocked- checking and purchasing groceries and household supplies- maintaining stock levels within budget- sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area- making beds and changing linens as needed- loading and unloading the dishwasherA Hampshire based family is keen to hire as soon as possible.To learn more about this Housekeeper Cook in Southampton role, please apply, and a consultant will contact you with more information.
