Job overviewWe are looking for a dynamic person who wish to join our team and expand their skill set within support roles with the opportunity to support dynamic patient flow within a multidisciplinary team which includes doctors, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.

Main duties of the jobTo provide housekeeping services to the ward manager in the ward environment. The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He/she will be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities/services in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet patient needs, as determined by the ward manager/charge nurse. The post holder will be required to work closely with the senior general services assistant , contractors and support services departments. He/she will monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies.

Person specification Education and Experience- Basic numeracy & literacy. Fluent in English language - written and verbal
- Previous experience in a care setting
- GCSE Maths and English
- Able to work in team environment
- Willingness to undertake any development training to include mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning and food handling/hygiene procedures
