Housekeeper

Job Overview

Location: St Andrews House, Derby. Position: Housekeeper (Domestic Cleaner).

Contract: Permanent, 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 06:00-09:00).

Salary: £25,272 per annum, pro rate.

This position does not meet the sponsorship requirements for the Skilled Worker route.

Main Duties

• Damp mopping and buffing of all floor surfaces, including using machinery.
• Vacuum cleaning of all carpet areas.
• Damp dusting of radiators, pipes and ledges.
• Cleaning of all furniture and fittings by appropriate methods.
• High dusting.
• Cleaning of partition glass and inside of windows where necessary.
• Cleaning of all sanitary fittings.
• Cleaning of wall tiles.
• Emptying of refuse bins and removal to disposal location.
• Cleaning of lockers, beds and mattresses when vacated by a patient.
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies to required stock level.
• Complete all relevant paperwork as requested by management.
• Open and secure buildings following procedures where required.

Person Specification Knowledge and skills

• Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Cleaning experience.
