Hours16 hours - 3 shifts over 7 days including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
NLW £12.21/hour (enhancements for Weekends and Bank Holiday)
The Housekeeper reports into the Facilities & Patient Experience Manager. The housekeeping team are responsible for providing high quality cleaning services across the Hospice in order to offer a safe, clean and welcoming environment to patients, visitors and staff.
The Housekeeper team will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. To undertake other cleaning duties as directed by needs of the service.
Knowledge and experience- Experience cleaning in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of colour coding
- Knowledge & understanding Health and Safety at Work
- Knowledge & understanding of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge & experience of COSHH
- Knowledge & experience of Infection Prevention and control
- Exhibits our hospice values and behaviours

- Able to work under pressure

All staff complete a comprehensive induction programme which includes statutory and mandatory e-learning as well as training that is tailored to the individual's need. All staff and volunteers should also attend an induction day.
