Job Description

Clarity is recruiting a permanent nurse for home care in South Dublin.

Role Overview

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality, holistic nursing care tailored to each resident's needs
  • Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and person centred care
  • Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants in delivering effective care
  • Collaborate with GPs, multidisciplinary teams, and senior nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate, up to date care plans and clinical documentation in line with HIQA standards
  • Monitor, report, and elevate clinical concerns appropriately
  • Administer medications safely and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support service development
  • Assist residents with daily activities, social engagement, and mealtimes where required
  • Ensure equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly
Requirements
  • Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
  • Previous experience in care of the elderly desirable but not essential
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Compassionate, resident focused approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
