Salary: £26,239 - £28,554 per annum

Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Various locations across the North East (Sunderland, Gateshead, Newcastle and Durham)

About the Role

This organisation has an exciting opportunity within their Project Team for a Home Energy Advisor (Green Doctor). The Green Doctor will support those in need across the region, engaging and offering practical support to people most at risk of fuel poverty, helping to make their homes more environmentally friendly and cheaper to run.

• Engage with the community to deliver informal training and encouraging referrals to the Green Doctor programme.
• Communicate confidently, engage people, and deliver energy saving interventions and advice.
• Collect and conduct assessments, fit practical energy saving measures, and thereafter offer advice to residents.
• Be highly organised and adaptable as duties vary daily.

Qualifications and Experience

Appropriate qualifications in energy efficiency are useful but not vital as the employer will provide full in job training for the successful candidates.
