Holidays Cottage Cleaner

We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottage, Portland House in Belle Vue Road, Weymouth. This spectacular art deco villa is managed by the National Trust as a holiday cottage sleeping 12 guests. It is steeped in original art deco features and it is a very special place to work.

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract: Fixed term contract until 30-Apr-2027

Hours/working pattern: Seasonal, flexible, weekends. This is a zero hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

Internally within the National Trust, you will be known as a "Holidays Operation Assistant".

On changeover days, you'll work as part of a team to make sure that everything is pristine and ready for the next guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming. We'll also keep an eye out for anything that's not as it should be, report repairs or odd jobs that need doing, replace broken items from the store supplies, and complete compliance checks and record keeping.
